The aim of the Christian teacher is to shape the immortal destiny of a soul according the Word Of God. LaDean was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Was born again at her "Good News Club" back in 1967. It Is not good-bye, just "until we meet again".

What a beautiful Life lived in the Lord! I was one of those lives changed by her lifetime devotion to Good News Ministries for Children. La Dean was an amazing woman! I rejoice that she now walks in heaven, totally healed, with her Lord! My prayers are with Gary and family.

Gary - My deepest sympathy to you and your family. LaDean was such a special lady--she made a huge impact on my life as I was one of the many children that came to her Good News Bible Club. I will always remember her smile--it lit up the whole room.

Mrs. Byer will forever live in our hearts. Saying she was one of a kind is an understatement. I Became very close to LaDean, and Warren when I was 12 years old. I Have lived in West Virginia for many years now & would still visit with LaDean and her precious cats when I would come back to town. She and Warren were more to me than friends and mentors. They were more like a second family. I know LaDean is now in heaven with all of Gods animals. In my life, she taught me more about the bible and religion, in general than any other source. May God continue to bless Gary and the Rest of the family.

LaDean was a precious lady and we are so glad to have known her through the ministry of CEF. I thought of this verse about a faithful servant who used his talents for the master: Matthew 25:21 "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." When Jesus gave this parable He surely was thinking of LaDean..she has been one of the most faithful CEF Good News Club Teachers I have ever known. Her heart and passion for the children will live on through the many many children she taught and led to the Lord. I am so sorry we did not know of her death or funeral until recently. But we rejoice she is with the Lord. And will see her in heaven someday with many souls she won to the Lord. With Love, Mark and Kathy Horner, CEF of Ohio State Directors
