Jenny Blanche Howell

Jenny Blanche Howell 99, formerly of Beach City was born in Somerton, Ohio on October 14,1913, the daughter of the late James and Frances (Rice) Skinner. Blanche was a house wife who loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She lived in Beach City for 55 years. She loved the fall season most of all and always looked forward to it. She loved to have company at home and as a resident at Brewster Park. Blanche married Howard R. Howell in 1936. They were married 49 years when he passed away in 1984. In addition she was preceded by her four sons; Leslie, James, Patrick and Francis Howell and a daughter in law; Virginia Howell, two grandsons, and her sister; Wilda Sullenger. She is survived by her daughter; Beverly (Wayne) McFarren of Beach City, and daughters in law; Leatha Howell of Navarre, and Sharon Howell of Dover; adopted son, Max Allen (Donna) Persons of Canton; three nephews; Gene Plumly of Barnesville, and Pete Sullenger and Gary (Janet) Sullenger both of California; nine grand children, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. A private family service will be held, interment will be made in Somerton Cemetery, Barnesville, Oh. Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City is assisting with arrangements.
