Maxine M. Myers, 89, of Massillon passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014. She was born in Flushing to the late Walter and Myrtle (Rankin) Dunn. Maxine retired from Nickles Bakery after 30 years as a laborer. She was a member of the Wilmot United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Myron G. Myers and her sister Evelyn Swan. She is survived by her loving daughter, Bonnie (Gordon) Hewitt of Mesa, AZ.; two grandsons, Kevin (Lori) Hewitt of Massillon, OH, and Scot (Criselda) of Redondo Beach, CA.; two great grandchildren, Hailey (Brandon) Jurkovich and Blaine Hewitt. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christian Children’s Home of Ohio, 2685 Armstrong Rd. Wooster, OH 44691.
