Gerald J. “Fat Boy†Hostetler, 78 of Wilmot passed away Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at Affinity Medical Center, Massillon after a period of declining health. He was born at Trail, Oh the son of the late Ralph and Helen Kochenderfer Hostetler. A Navy Veteran, Jerry was employed at CMA at Bolivar, where he worked for 18 years. After military service he worked in the oil fields. He was a member of Wilmot United Methodist Church, Moose of Brewster and V.F.W. of Navarre. He was preceded by his wife Gretchen Kyle Hostetler, October 4, 2012. Jerry is survived by his canine companion Bella and extended family and many friends. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held, Friday, Sept. 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Pastor Ken Lewis officiating. Interment will be made in Winesburg Cemetery.
