Donna Jean Messer

Donna Jean Messer, 93 a life resident of Beach City passed away, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Altercare of Navarre following a several month illness. She was born at Massillon, the daughter of the late, Alvin (Doc) and Marie Haager Messer. Donna graduated in 1943 from Beach City High School and later from Canton Actual Business College, she retired in 1985 from Union Drawn, Massillon as a secretary after 38 years employment. Donna was a member of the United Methodist Church, State, National and Beach City Grange, Eastern Star at Bolivar and AARP of Massillon. She is survived by many relatives and friends, with THANKS TO special friends Connie and Nancy. A service celebrating Donna’s life will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. Friends and relatives will join from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to service for time of fellowship at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Beach City Grange or Wilderness Center, Wilmot, Ohio.
