O. Roselene Nicholson, 79 of Beach City passed away on Nov. 16, 2009 following a brief illness. She was born at New Milton, W. Va., the daughter of the late Waitman and Vada Cox Dillon and had been a resident here 56 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Sword of the Spirit Faith Center, Canton. Surviving are 3 daughters, Jeanette Jones of Dundee, Becky Hicks and Joyce Nicholson both of Beach City, 1 son, Robert E. Nicholson, Jr. of Beach City; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Wavelene Cottrill of Pennsboro, W. Va. Roselene was preceded by her husband, Robert E. Nicholson, Sr., April 29, 1999 1 sister, 1 brother and 1 grandchild and 2 sons in law. Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home in Pennsboro, W. Va. Interment will be made in Sunrise Cemetery, New Milton, W. Va., Calling hours in W. Va. will be on Thurs. Nov. 19, 2009 from 5 - 8 and after 9:00 a.m. until service time.
