Glenn R. (Bud) Rittmaier, 89 of Beach City passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Truman Hospice House, New Philadelphia, Oh., following a period of declining health. He was born at Beach City, the son of the late Harry and Hazel Stamets Rittmaier and had been a life resident of the area. He retired after 32 years as a truck driver, the last employment was Logan Trucking. In addition to his parents he was preceded by one sister. Surviving are his wife, the former Donna L. Widder whom he married December 19, 1947; two daughters, Dianna (Robert) Oakleaf of Strasburg, Darlene (Don Brown) Rittmaier of Beach City; two grandchildren, Tracee Oakleaf, Strasburg and Ryan (Jennifer) Oakleaf of Beach City, two great grandchildren, Jory and Lainey Oakleaf of Beach City; one sister, Verna Jean Corba of Beach City. A graveside service celebrating Bud’s life will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City.
