James Russell Orr

James Russell Orr, 91 of Massillon went Home to be with his late wife Flossie (Florence Lantzer Orr) on September 23, 2022. Jim and Flossie were the heart of our family and they will be missed beyond words. Jim was an Army Korean Veteran and had retired from Republic Steel where he was an inspector. In addition to his wife, he was preceded by parents, James Urban and Mary Stevens Orr, one son, Rusty Orr, one granddaughter Anita Wood and two sisters. Surviving are two daughters and son in law, Cindy (Jim) Seroke of Massillon and Connie Wood of Bradyville, Tenn., two sisters Shirley Morrow and Ruth Hendershot both of Marietta, Seven grandchildren and Six great grandchildren. A service celebrating Jim’s life will be held, Friday Sept. 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd. Ave. Beach City, Oh. Interment will be made in Melschmeir Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
