Birdie Ann Alexander, 77 of Beach City passed away Saturday March 20, 2010 at Affinity Hospital Massillon following a period of declining health. She was born at Beach City, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Gertrude Wade Eberly and had been a life resident. She retired in 1999 from Brewster Parke where she had been an aide. Birdie Ann was a member of the Beach City United Methodist Church. She loved to play bingo and cards with her ladies. She was preceded by her husband William V. Alexander, Oct. 3, 2004, 2 sisters and 2 brothers and a grandson. Surviving are 2 sons and 3 daughters, William (Nadine) Alexander and David (Dorothy) Alexander both of Dover, Bonnie (Larry) Moczek of Massillon, Tammi (David) Rennicker of Urichsville, Anna Marie Farnsworth of Beach City. 2 sisters, Ruth Fahrni of Beach City and Judy (David) Himes of Strasburg, 1 brother Ben (Jean) Eberly of Brewster, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. in the United Methodist Church, Main Street, Beach City with Pastor Jon Long officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City.
