Delia A. Traynor passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2023, while undergoing treatment for pneumonia at Akron General. She was born in Iloilo City, Philippines on January 9, 1951 to Carlos and Pelagia Alumbro. The former dance teacher met her husband, Donald "Dan" Traynor, while he was in the US Navy, stationed at Subic Bay, Philippines. She moved to the United States around 1980 and became a naturalized citizen in the early 1990s. Delia is survived by several brothers and sisters in the Philippines, one sister, Belma (Mitch) Cunningham and niece Sheila (Warnie) Salcedo of San Diego, CA, her five children: Ray (Josie) Traynor of Plain Township, Eddie (Megan) Traynor of North Canton, Danielle (Steve) Perich of Plain Township, Jeff (Michelle) Traynor of Jackson Township and Jame (Deion) Traynor-Johnson of Hartville, her step-son, Charles (Bo) Traynor, grandchildren: Gabrielle, Joviet, Anthony, Aiden, Tristan, Savon, Kyoko, Brodie, Gwendolyn,Tamiko, Lois, Emeline, Holden, Simon, Evan and Grant, great-nephew Matthew and great-niece Piper, four great-grandchildren, many more nieces and nephews and 10 grand-dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two siblings. Calling hours will be hald at the Lantzer Funeral Home in Beach City, OH on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A small ceremony will immediately follow. Delia will be interred with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C., at a later date.
