Dottie Sharorn Sciortino, 81 of Massillon passed away at her residence, Tuesday February 20, 2024 following a period of declining health. She was born at Swandale, Clay County, W. Va., the daughter of the late Otha and Edna Bragg Truman and had been a resident here most of her life. She had been an employee of Nickles Bakery, Navarre, where she worked in production over 28 years. Surviving are one daughter and son in law; Anita (Wes) Yoder of Beach City; three sons; Steven Sciortino, John Sciortino and Matthew Sciortino all of Massillon; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; one brother, Ben Truman and one sister Lynn Graybill both of Massillon. A service celebrating Dottie’s life will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd. Ave. SE Beach City. Interment will be made in Oakwood Cemetery, Massillon. Friends may call Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
