James R. Young

James R. Young, 82 of Navarre, passed away February 10, 2011 at Brewster Park Nursing Home following a brief illness. He was born at Lattergap, W. Va., March 2, 1928, the son of the late Okey Homer and Trilby Dale Lamb Young and had been an area resident 60 years. He was a Army/Air Corps Veteran of WW II and retired in 1987 from Republic Steel Massillon where he was a slitter operator. James was preceded by his wife, Edith Ann Curry, August 1987; 2 daughters Betty L. Anno and Connie S. Pauley; 4 brothers and his companion, Doris J. Aranda, May 2010. Surviving are 2 sons, Kenneth (Connie) Young of Navarre, James J. Young, Jr., companions children, Sally J. Knerr, Randy Knerr and Debbie Ryals; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren A celebration of his life will be held at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City, Sunday, Febraury 13, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Mathews, officiating. Interment will be made in Green Lawn Cemetery, Wilmot. Friends may call, Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m.
