Mary Lou Hanlin, 83 of Beach City passed away Sunday March 13, 2011 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born at Dundee, Oh., April 7, 1927, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Edna Smith Smith and had been a life resident of the area. Mary Lou had worked in the office of both Timken at Canton and Marlite, Dover and was a member of the Wilmot United Methodist Church and Beach City Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded by her husband, Erwin (Okey) Hanlin, Jan. 15, 2004, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Surviving are 1 daughter and son in law, Rayne (Rick) Lutz of Jackson Twp., 2 sons and daughter in law, Mark Hanlin of Perry Twp. and Jay (Cathy) Hanlin of Jackson Twp., 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 2 special angels, Tig and Barb. A memorial celebration of Mary Lou’s life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Pastor Jon Long officiating. Inurnment will be made in Green Lawn Cemetery, Wilmot, Oh.
