Jess T. Vogley

Jess T. Vogley of Navarre passed away, Nov. 29, 2008 at Altercare of Navarre following a 3 month illness. He was born at Canton the son of the late Jess T. and Lorraine Flint Vogley and had been a life resident of the area. Jess retired from Norfolk and Southern Railway at Brewster where he was a engineer. Golf and his dog Scooter were his passion following retirement. An Army Veteran, having served in Germany. He was a member of the Navarre VFW. and Brewster Moose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife JoAnn Barton Vogley, January 3, 2003. Surviving are 1 brother and sister in law, Robert (Ruth) Vogley of Beach City. Nieces, Barb R. (Tom ) Middaugh of Massillon and Brenda J. Grass of Navarre; 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews and 1 great great nephew. Services will be held, Tues. Dec. 2, 2008 at 10 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home with Rev. Orion Aubihl officiating. Inurnment will be made in East Union Lawn Cemetery, Navarre. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to services at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City.
