Larry A Sliffe

Larry A. Sliffe, 75 of Beach City went to be with his Lord June 9, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center, Canton. He was born at Dundee, Oh., the son of the late Allen (Ward) and Grace Mauer Sliffe and had been a life resident of the area. He retired from Fairless Local School District where he had been a custodian. Larry was a member of Wilmot United Methodist Church and had served as a trustee. He also assisted the Fire Department with the ham dinners. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Martha Wardell Sliffe in 2004; son, Rick Sliffe in 2006; son in law, Alan Lyons and brother, Freddy Sliffe. Larry is survived by one son, Terry Sliffe of Wooster; three daughters, Karan Sliffe of Louisville, Oh, Lynette (Kraig) Bernard of Green, Christine Lyons of Shreve, one brother Gary (Carol) Sliffe of Beach City and a special companion, Ginny Spidle of Wilmot. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial service celebrating Larry’s life will be held, AUGUST 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., in the Wilmot United Methodist Church with Pastors Scott Simmons and Ken Lewis officiating. Inurnment will be made in Grandview Union Cemetery, Strasburg. Friends may call from 10 to 11 at the church. Memorials may be made to Wilmot United Methodist Church, P.O.
