Louise McFarren (Roth)

Louise “Lou†McFarren (née Roth), 92, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home with her two youngest daughters and one of her cats by her side. Lou was born and raised in Beach City, Ohio, a town she always considered her home. Beloved daughter of Adolf and Ida Roth, Lou predeceased her sister Juanita and brother Edward and is survived by her brother Bruce. She was a devoted mother, a hard worker, an excellent cook, a talented seamstress, and a voracious reader. She had a great love of animals and cared for their welfare. She is survived by her seven children: Toby Lou (former husband Lane Chambliss), Jamie (husband Robin Biswas), Tracy, Chris (wife Leatha), Court (wife Barbara), Lisa (best friend Justin Grunau), and Gina; eleven grandchildren; four greatÂgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held Saturday, April 16, at 11:30 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 230 West Main St., Beach City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, those who may wish to remember Lou with a gift are asked to donate to an animal shelter of their choice.
