Joyce Ann Woods

Joyce Ann Woods, of Massillon, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, October 17, 2021. She was born at home in the ORRVILLE, Ohio area. the daughter of the late Lester Ott and Naomi Weller Ott and had been a life long resident of the area. 53 years at her current residence. A homemaker, she is survived by her husband Junior G. Woods, whom she married September 18, 1957. Joyce has Four sons; Mike (Cheryl) Woods of Strasburg. Douglas (Ann) Woods of Navarre, Kenny Woods of Massillon and Greg (Kris) Woods of Massillon. Mike passed away June 29th, 2021. She is survived by twin sister, Janet Haynes of Canal Fulton and one brother Steve Ott of Canton, thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Joyce is also preceded by three sisters, Pat, Kathy, Lynn and two brothers Gary and Pete and daughter-in-law Michelle Woods. A service celebrating Joyce’s life will be held October 21, 2021 at 7 p.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd Ave. S.E. Beach City . Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., October 21, 2021 at the funeral home.
