Sharon Mae Brandon, 67 of Dover formerly of Sugarcreek, passed away at her residence, Monday, May 14, 2012 following a 9 month illness. She was born at Dover, the daughter of the late Glen B. and Violet Lawrence Fisher and had been a Dover resident 17 years. Sharon retired in 2009 after 27 years at Rich Industries at Midvale, Oh., where she was a machine operator. Surviving are her children, Roy (Veronica) Brandon, of New Philadelphia and Bonnie Brandon of Cleveland; sisters and brothers, Faith (Carol) “Austin” Williams of Beach City, Glen Darrell “Lynn” Fisher of Strasburg, Glenna “Frank” Newsome of Russelville Ark., Pauline (Ruth Anne) “Ben” Yoder, Gnadenhutten, Samuel Emerson Fisher of Dennison and a special friend Sarah (Peggy) Foutz of Dover; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Holli, Adam and Lee Brandon, Roger and Josh Lamb, LaTasha and Thomas Sampsel and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held Thursday May 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. Interment will be made in Ridgecrest Memorial Gardens, Dover. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County.
