Steven J. Somogyi2021-08-11 17:05:48My sincerest condolences to the Snyder family.
I met Bob “Old Man” when I was a newly hired train dispatcher in 1993. He quickly took me under his wing because of our mutual love of the game of Golf. During our hundreds of rounds of golf together, countless hours together at the Dispatch Center, he became so much more to me; mentor, friend, sage, and fierce rival - our routine before every round often went like this; “Hey Old Man, how much you wanna play for?”-

I rarely beat him!
I only knew Bob a short time before our lives changed and took us our separate ways but he made an indelible mark on my soul….a profound impact on me becoming the man I am today and for that I am grateful and blessed to have had him in my life albeit for just a few years - I can only imagine the impact he made on his family all these years and the pain of their loss. I grieve with all of you.
Rest In Peace “Old Man”.
