Arthur B. Martin

Arthur “Artie” Martin, age 71, of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2025. He was born in Canton, Ohio, on April 12, 1954, the son of the late Arthur and Shirley (Gillespie) Martin. Artie was a graduate of Kent State University’s School of Architecture. He was a gifted architect, leading multiple firms and practicing for over 30 years, focusing on historical restorations. Artie enjoyed classical music, vintage furniture, coffee with friends “at the pond,” and cherished time with his grandchildren. A longtime member of Bible Believers Baptist Church, Canton. He is survived by his children Josh (Delia) Martin, Jeremy (Mariah) Martin, Josiah (Lacy) Martin, Jessica (Josh) Wilcox, Johanna (Blair) Arthur, Jordan Martin, Jaret (Sophia) Martin; siblings James Martin, Lisa (Tim) Dombroski, Bruce Martin; he was a loving grandfather to 20 grandchildren. Artie will be remembered for his kindness, thoughtful nature, and deep love for his family. Calling hours will be May 22, 2025, from 5-8 PM at Bible Believer’s Baptist Church at 5360 East Center Drive and May 23 from 11 – 11:45 AM in the church. Funeral services will begin at 12 PM with Pastor Cory Howell officiating. Interment will be made in Henry Warstler Cemetery. Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City, is assisting the family.
