Mal (vina) Harper Hicks2011-05-08 15:41:14I am very sorry that Pat has left us. Since I left the hospital about 20 years ago, I have only talked with Pat about 10-15 times. Wed run across each other in our real lives from time to time. She always was as if we still were close. Always a joy to see, to speak with, to listen to. I met Pat at work on the ortho floor at Drs Hosp. She was a caring nurse, one of those always trying to get 10 pounds of work into a 5 pound bag-- if you know what I mean. But, she always took time to explain to me (the ward clerk) what something meant and what it was supposed to do. And trust me, a day on the ortho floor was a busy, busy day. Nancy Perkins2011-05-09 06:03:18Katie -
Im so very, very sorry to learn of your moms death. Words are of such little comfort in a time like this. Please take heart in knowing your mom is watching down over you from above and smiling. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care.
Linda Crawford2011-05-10 06:32:45I worked with Pat at Country Lawn and she was a wonderful person. She always made me laugh when I needed a lift. She was a good nurse and she really cared about her patients. We would talk about her white water rafting and how much she enjoyed it. She was a good friend and I could always talk to her about problems and she never judged. She will be missed.
