Clyde M. Wisselgren, 71 of Navarre passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 following a 1 year illness. He was born at Lodi, Oh the son of the late Cledith and MaeBell Carr Wisselgren and had been a resident in the area 53 years. He was a farmer and avid fisherman and had retired in 1994 from Sugar Creek Township (Stark County) road department where he was an equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Marie Corell whom he married, Oct. 2, 1960. 2 daughters and sons in law, Sharon (Jack) Ritenour of Beach City, Nancy (Frank) Alleshouse of Fresno; 1 brother and sister in law, Francis (Bud) and June Wisselgren of Dover: mother in law, Marjorie Corell of Beach City; grandchildren, Jack Ritenour Jr. of Beach City, Spc. Eric Ritenour now serving in Iraq, Jimmy, Nicole and Matthew Evans all of Fresno, step grandchildren, Jennifer Kirkbride of Dover, Pvt. Frank Alleshouse Jr. serving in Egypt and Jason Alleshouse of Urichsville. He was preceded by 1 brother Homer Bowen and 1 sister Altha Ohler. Services will be held, Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Pastors Orion Aubihl and Jon Long officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
