Ethelene E. Daniels, 88 a resident at Brewster Parke former Beach City resident 58 years, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 following Alzheimers problems. She was born at Huttonsville, W. Va., the daughter of the late, Conley and Della Murphy Simmons. Ethelene was graduate of Tygarts Valley High School at Millcreek, W. Va.. A homemaker, she was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pythian Sisters, American Legion Auxiliary and a volunteer for American Red Cross all of Beach City. She loved flowers, qilting, crocheting, taking pictures, cooking/canning and playing quitar with brothers and sisters and playing on Elkins radio with cousin Woody Simmons. She was preceded by her husband, Charles H. Daniels, May 30, 2004; 1 son, Richard Yokum; siblings, Lionel, Jennings, Arley, Evelyn, Arlene and Geneva Surviving are 2 sons, David (Joyce) Yokum of Sterling Park, Va., Ronald Daniels of Beach City; 1 daughter Carmel (Jeff) Norris of Navarre; daughter in law, Paula Yokum of Poolesville, Va. and 1 brother, Russell Simmons of Dailey, W. Va., grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Ethelenes life will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home with Pastor Orion Aubihl officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
