Arnold D Shonk

Arnold D. Shonk, 75 of Beach City, passed away Tuesday May 14, 2013 at Aultman Compassionate Care, Canton. He was born at Massillon, the son of the late Arnold and Julia M. Kolesaric Shonk. Arnold retired in 2004 from Waikem Ford where his was mechanic for 37 years. He and his wife, Terry, raised llamas at DoeKnob Farm, Beach City. He is survived by his beloved wife, Terrellyn (Terry) Sprout Shonk; two daughters, Kelly (Mark) Houze and Kimberly Shonk all of Beach City; brother, Robert (Helen) Shonk of Massillon and mother in law, June Sprout of Navarre; three grandchildren, Zachary (Julia) Houze, Joshua Houze and Nichole Houze; one great granddaughter, Aurora Gaut-Houze. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Navarre with Pastor Elaine Tullis officiating. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or Alzheimers Association. The family would like to thank the staff at Aultman Compassionate Care facility.
