Mary Viola Widder

Mary Viola Widder, 90 passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Brewster Parke following a 2 month decline. She was born October 20, 1923, the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence Gardner Lundenberger. Mary had been a resident of Beach City, Strasburg and the last 2 years prior to her decline resided with her son and daughter in law, Larry and Myra Fuller at Massillon. She had been employed at the former Perry Rubber and retired from the Sons of Herman at Massillon where she was a cook. Mary was a member of First Lutheran Church, Beach City and since moving to Massillon attended with her family the Weslyan Methodist Church. She was preceded by her husband, Russell D. Widder, Sept. 21, 1996 and 2 sisters. In addition to her son and daughter in law she is survived by, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Mays, Emily (Chris) Nussbaum both of Massillon, Russell (Julie) Fuller of Canal Fulton; 5 great grandchildren, Alex, Mackenzie and Andrew Fuller, Hannah and Hayden Nussbaum. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Monday, April, 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Rev. Duane Quesenberry officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Sunday from 2:30 to 4:30 at the funeral home.
