Carol (Curly) D. Fair, 83 a resident of Brewster Parke formerly of Beach City passed away, Wednesday, July 9, 2014 surrounded by his family, following a period of declining health. He ws born at Dundee, Oh., the son of the late George H. and Irene E. Nollan Fair. He retired from Superior Meats, Massillon. Curly was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the VFW at Navarre. Surviving are 1 son, Mike Fair of Brewster, 3 daughters, Pam (Brad) Carrothers of Navarre, Jeanette (Bob) Carroll of North Canton, Cynthia (Chuck Berkey) Smith of Wilmot; grandchildren; Michelle Crum, Michael, Amanda and Chase Fair, Natalie Smith, Nikita Carrothers; 2 great grandsons, Logan Crum and Connor Fair. He was preceded by daughter in law, Sherrie Fair; 2 sisters, Twila Thomas and Iila Grewell; 3 brothers Leroy Fair, Gene Fair, and Ralph (Red) Fair and his loving companion Dorothy Shetler. Friends may call Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Inurnment will be made at the Veterans Cemetery, Rittman, Oh.
