Mark Kimball, 62 of Wilmot passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at Affinity ER after a sudden illness. He was born at Coshocton, Oh, the son of the late Edgar and Barbara Harden Kimball and had been a life resident of the area. Mark retired from Republic Steel where he was a welder, He was employed as custodian at Fairless high School. He was the former fire chief with the Wilmot Fire Department and had assisted with the Beach City Fire Department and for several years has been SANTA for many at Christmas. He is survived by his wife the former Sharlene Sampsel whom he married September 9, 1972; 2 sons, Scott Kimball and Steve Kimball both of Beach City; 1 brother, Mike (Terri) Kimball and 1 sister, Becky (Jerry) Johnston; 2 grandchildren, Nikki Kimball and Mason Kimball; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 11:00 - 1:30 at Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd. Ave. S.E., Beach City, with the Stark County Fire Department holding service at 1:30 Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City.
