Lester H. Ecenbarger a resident of Jackson Ridge Nursing Home formerly of Beach City passed away, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 following a period of declining health. He was born at Beach City, the son of the late Curtis and Alice Silvius Ecenbarger. Lester was a farmer (Produce and gladiolas) and had retired from LTV Steel at Massillon where he was a pipe fitter and worked in the pump house. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife the former Christina Slemmer, June 19, 1979 and one son George. He is survived by two daughters; Gloria of North Canton, Darlene of Canton and two sons and daughter in law; Earl (Tammy) of Bolivar and Glen of North Canton; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held, Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Dr. John Williams Jr. officiating. Interment will be made in GreenLawn Cemetery, Wilmot. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
