John A Lamb

John A. Lamb, 85 of Beach City passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Aultman Hospital, Canton following a period of declining health. He was born at Glenville, W. Va., the son of the late James T. and Rita Wanstreet Lamb and had been a resident here 63 years. He retired from LTV Steel and enjoyed farming. In addition to his parents he is preceded by his wife, Naomi, Nov. 16, 2009, son Mike, daughter Karen, grandson Johnnie and his siblings. Surviving are his sons and daughters in law; John (Donna) Lamb, Dean (Helen) Lamb of Beach City, Ed (Linda) Lamb of Florida; daughters and sons in law, Kathy( Irvin) Sprang of Strasburg, Debbie (Doug) Simmons of Dover, Donna Lamb of the residence; sister in law Shirley Lamb; 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. A celebration of John’s life will be held, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Van Arsdalen officiating. Interment will be made in Green Lawn Cemetery, Wilmot. Friends may call, Tuesday evening, November 29, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
