On February 10, 2017, Nathan Conley Simmons went to meet Jesus in Person. He was 36 years old, born in Vallejo, CA. He lived most of his life in the Beach City area. Those who knew him are grieving the loss of such a beautiful man, but for Nathan it is a joyous reunion with his grandpa, uncle, and others he has missed. Nathan was an intelligent young man who decided to get his GED, after missing graduation. Enrolling for night classes, he worked hard until he succeeded in achieving this goal. With his diploma in hand, Nathan was accepted to Kent State University where he took several classes over the years. Nathan was also a man who knew how to enjoy life, and he loved people. He was an avid fisherman. Nathan was an excellent cook, especially barbequing, and took great pleasure in cooking for family and friends. Nathan was a loyal, kind man who will be missed by all those who knew him. Nathan is survived by his mother Debra Anderson of Midvale, his father Neil Simmons of Beach City, his sister Neildra (Henry) Cox of North Canton, his brother Wayne Simmons of Beach City, his grandmother Betty Simmons of Beach City and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Mary Anderson, and his grandfather Lionel Simmons.
