Ronald Knight

Ronald (Roundy) L. Knight, 68 of Beach City passed away, Friday, April 27, 2018, at his home. He was born in Massillon, the son of the late Gilbert and Rosalene (McKitrick) Knight and had been a life resident of Beach City. He retired from Republic Steel in Massillon. He was 2017 Ohio’s Commander for the Army and Navy club. He currently served on the Army Navy’s national council for the state of Ohio. He was Commander for Beach City’s Army Navy club (1991-2015) and recently was a trustee. He organized various Army Navy fundraisers to help people in need. He was also instrumental in helping the Beach City Army Navy get rebuilt and operational after the fire. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Roger (Tee) Knight of Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelley (Zach) Knight-Bourn of Jackson Twp.; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Eleanora) Alexander; and one sister and brother-in-law, Nancy (David) Angel. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Martha, and one grandson, Nigel Bourn. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held, Satur day, May 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Pastor Leah Schafer. Inurnment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City.
