Vernon L. Deal, 91 of Navarre passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 following a period of declining health. He was born at Navarre, Oh., the son of the late Logan and Elizabeth Reidenbach Deal and was life resident of the area An Army Veteran and member of the Brewster American Legion Post #160, he retired from Norfolk and Southern Railway where he was a machinist. He enjoyed farming and raising Hampshire sheep. Surviving are his wife, the former Frieda Eileen Levengood Deal, whom he married June 26, 1955. Two daughters and son in law, Denise Deal of Navarre and Debbie (Mark) Shaw of Fairlawn. A brother Robert is deceased. Private family burial will take place in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City.
