Naomi Ruth Lamb, 79 of Beach City, passed away Mon. Nov. 16, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born at Cedarville, W. Va.., the daughter of the late John and Charity Racliff Marks and had been a resident here 57 years. She was a homemaker who loved quilting, canning and baking and being with her family and church family. She was a member of First Baptist Church, New Phila. Naomi is survived by her husband of 60 years, John A. Lamb of the residence; 3 sons and daughters in law, John (Donna) Lamb, Dean (Helen) Lamb both of Beach City,Ed (Linda) Lamb of Brewster; 3 daughters and sons in law, Kathy (Irvin) Sprang of Strasburg, Debbie (Doug) Simmons of Dover, Donna Lamb of the home; 2 sisters, Leona Gaskil of Strasburg and Shirley Lamb of Beach City. 20 grandchildren and 34 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded by parents, 1 son, Mike and 1 daughter, Karen and 1 grandson Johnnie. Services will be held Friday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Pastor Rich VanArsdalen officiating. Interment will be made in GreenLawn Cemetery, Wilmot.
