Hazel De Hoff

Hazel DeHoff, 91 of a 5 year Beach City resident formerly of North Lawrence, passed away November 25, 2018 at Aultman Compassionate Care, Canton following declining health. She was born at Richville, the daughter of Walter and Minnie Frey Lantzer. Hazel owned/operated Shady Grove Garden Center at North Lawrence. She was a member of Sixteen St. John’s Church. She was preceded by husband, Kenneth DeHoff in January 1996, one sister and two brothers, surviving are two daughters, Carol (Dan) Sukosd; Beach City, Sue DeHoff, Akron; four sons, Virgil (Neva) DeHoff, Medina; Dale DeHoff, Akron; Ken (Chris) DeHoff, Navarre, Ron (Celeste) DeHoff, Navarre; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Florence (Jim) Orr, Massillon; one sister in law, Donna Lantzer, Beach City and one brother in law, Benny Klick, Utica. A service celebrating Hazel’s life will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd. Ave., Beach City, Oh. Interment will be made in Sunset Hills, Canton.
