Richard Lee Cantleberry, 86, of Navarre, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2021. He was born on June 9, 1934 in East Sparta, OH, eldest son of the late Alvin and Mary (Gill) Cantleberry. Richard graduated from Brewster High School and served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1956. After the military, he worked at Eaton Corporation until his retirement in 1993. Richard was a proud supporter of the Fairless Local School District, serving on the School Board and Athletic Complex Team. he was a member of the Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church, enjoyed sports and spending time with his family and friends. Richard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rhea (Numbers) Cantleberry; his daughters; Jill Cantleberry and Jodi (John) Lasher; grandchildren; Jason Lasher Justin (Ashley) Lasher, Molly Everett and Ryan Everett; sisters: Shirley Sponsler and Sue (Larry) Jamison, son-in-law Casey Everett and sister -in-law, Sandra Cantleberry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Everett and brother David Cantleberry. Visitation to be held Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and the funeral service on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aultman Hospice.
