Laura "Janie" Jane Dean

Laura “Janie” Jane Dean was born January 27, 1939 to her late parents, Delcie (Brady) and Willis C. Webb Sr. at the family home in Raleigh County, West Virginia. She was a long time Ohio resident before going with the Lord on May 16, 2021 at Brewster Parke. She married Reverend Damon D. Dean on February 3, 1953, who passed in December of 1991. Janie was a member of United Freewill Baptist Church and was dedicated to her faith and family. She loved and gave with her whole heart to anyone who was in need. She enjoyed crafting, reading, traveling, wordsearches and solitaire. She drove to family homes across states whenever she got the opportunity. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Oley and James Webb; sister, Carol (Late George) Cramp; and two infant grandsons. She is survived by brothers; Bobby (late Faye), Howard (Linda) and Willis ‘Junior”(Late Brenda) Webb; sister Wilma Green; daughters, Sharen (Late Randy) Davis, Brenda (Michael) Reed, Diana (late Gary) Hickman and Tobi (Daniel) Hattery; grandchildren, Katlynn Davis, Jess and Chris Reed, Brian and Daniel Spencer, Michelle Boreman, Jarrod and Steven Hattery. There are 14 great grandchildren, including a new baby boy expected in September that she was very excited about. Janie will be deeply missed by family and friends, but they are comforted by the peace that she obtained joining loved ones in heaven. A memorial service will be held, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd. Ave., Beach City with inurnment following in Welty Cemetery. “There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains.” - Unknown
