Kimberly K. Shonk, artist, writer, dancer, fisherman, and dog-trainer died April 17, 2022 at the age of 52. Kim is survived by her Blue Eeyore Mom, Kelly Kellogg, Zach Zach the Water Rat, Angel Nikki, and Lil Man Josh. Also known as: Her mom, Terry Shonk (Sprout); her sister Kelly (Mark) Houze; her nephews, Zachary (Julia) Houze and Joshua (Kelly) Houze; her niece Nichole (Philip) Schill; her great nephew, James Houze; her great niece Aurora Gaut-Houze; her aunts and uncles Marsha (Steve) Bubenchik, Dennis (Bonnie) Sprout, Dale (Denise) Sprout, Donald Sprout; cousins, and Don Rutter. She is preceded by her father, Arnold Shonk; her grandmother, Julia Shonk; her grandfather, Dwayne Sprout; and her grandmother, A. June Sprout. Kim was born November 4, 1969 to Arnold and Terry Shonk. She graduated from Fairless High School class of 1988. Kim approached all aspects of life passionately. Her laugh was contagious and her beautiful smile brightened any room. She had an impressive list of abilities despite her life-long disability. Her hobbies included writing her favorite memories, drawing, painting and coloring for her favorite people, training dogs, singing and dancing to 80s musics, fishing but refusing to touch a fish, Dallas Cowboys and OSU football fan, and league bowling. She made friends easily and had a knack for remembering almost everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
