Evelyn (Evie) L Swan

Evelyn (Evie) L. Swan, 85 a resident at Hennis Health Care Centre, Dover formerly of Wilmot passed away Tuesday August 30, 2022 following a period of declining health. She was born at Winesburg, the daughter of the late Arthur C. Richards and Treva M Beechy Hanlin and had been a life resident of the area. She had been employed as a a waitress at the Winesburg Restaurant for many years, affiliated with Zion United Church of Christ, Winesburg and the Winesburg Historical Society, and American Legion Auxiliary, Beach City. Evie was preceded by her husband Ralph E. Swan, Aug. 24, 2007 and one sister, Elaine Amos. Surviving are her son and daughter in law. Steve Swan and Chrystal Champagne-Swan of Strasburg; special niece (daughter that I never had) Roxie (Scott) Rush of Navarre; shared granddaughters Katie Rush and Maggie (fiancé Alec Zenk) Rush. A memorial service celebrating Evie’s life will be held, Friday September 2, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City.. Friends may call from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Historical Society % Glen Wengerd, Winesburg.
