William E. Mauger, 85 of Navarre passed away at his residence following a period of declining health from Parkinson's Disease. He was born at Massillon, the son of the late Maurice and Hilda Marbarger Mauger and had been a life resident of the area, graduating in 1955 from Washington High School. Bill retired from Timken roller Bearing as a supervisor in the bearing department. He was a member of St. Pails Lutheran Church, Massillon, Ohio National Guard, Ohio Region of Crosley Club, Great Lakers GMC Motor Club, Blur Angles of Massillon, East Coast Drag Racing Hall of Fame, Massillon Tigertown Boat and Ski Club. Surviving, his wife Mary Jane (Hill) Mauger of the residence, Daughter and son in law, Josephine (Kenneth) Beatty of Brewster, sons and daughter in law, Mark M. (Suzanne Braun) Mauger of Massillon and David E. Mauger of Navarre, two granddaughters Elizabeth and Melanie Mauger, one brother Roger B. Mauger of Navarre and one sister Caroline Slicker of Massillon. Bill was preceded by one sister Hilda and one brother George and nephew Dan. No calling hours or service are planned.
