Wilbur L (Red). Carroll, Jr. 80 of Brewster passed away August 25, 2023 at his residence following a period of declining health. He was born at Brewster, the son of the late Wilbur Sr. and Bernice Pace Carroll. Red had been a life resident of Brewster and was a member of the first graduating class at Fairless High School and First Lutheran Church, Beach City, Masonic Lodge, Dover. He was retired from Republic Steel after 29 1/2 years. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Nicsinger Carroll whom he married August 5, 1962 of the residence, one son and daughter in law, Scott and Julie Carroll of Brewster, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren, one sister Cora Pritchard of Massillon. A service celebrating Red’s life will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:30 in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. Friends may call from 10 to 11:30. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 4369 Whipple NW, Canton, 44718.
