Robert Lee Cash

Robert Lee Cash, 90 of Massillon, passed away Sunday August 27, 2023 at his residence following declining health. He was born at Massillon, the son of the late Myrl Edwin Cash and Clara Stidd Sinfield and had been a Massillon resident since 1971 formerly of the Beach City - Wilmot area. Bob was a Navy Veteran serving in Japan during the Korean War, a member of the Wilmot United Methodist Church,Eagles Radio Control Club of Bolivar, Beach City Airport Association where his love of flying gave him a private pilots license and he had been a flight instructor. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded by one son, Lee Myrl Cash. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Ann Donahue whom he married March 14, 1959 of the residence, one son and daughter in law, Robert (Mary Kay) Cash of South Carolina, one daughter, Jean Black o Massillon, one daughter in law, Carla Cash of Massillon, one sister, Joyce Mencer of Dover, five grandchildren: Christopher, Nicholas, Zack, Brittaney(Beau), Jenna (Jason) and four great grandchildren, two step brothers, Charles (Jan) Sinfeld and James (Jean) Sinfield. A service celebrating Bob’s life will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Wilmot United Methodist Church. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call for 11 to 12 at the church. Memorials may be made to Wilmot United Methodists Church or Reformation Bible Church, Beach City, c/o Scott Simmons. Bolivar.
