Shirley G. Kilgore, 88 of Navarre passed away January 13, 2024 at Brewster Parke following a short period of declining health. , She was born at Navarre, the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Blanche Winkhart Nofsinger and had been a life resident of the area. She was a homemaker and aide at Country Lawn assisted living. Shirley was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Navarre. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Franklin D. Kilgore, Sr. and one son Frank Kilgore, Jr.. Surviving are one daughter and son in law; Jill (Dave) Collings of Navarre, two sons and daughters in law; Jeff (Karen) Kilgore of Massillon and Jack (Gloria) Kilgore of Navarre, daughter in law, Victoria Kilgore of Navarre, two grandchildren and two step grandchildren, one brother Sam Nofsinger and one sister Donna Sears. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1:00 in Lantzer Funeral Home, 230 2nd. Ave. Beach City, Friends may call from 11 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be made in Welty Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s United church of Christ, Navarre.
