Jonathon Michael Smith, born November 8th 1984. At the young age of 39. He was born under a full moon eclipse and was just as magnificent to see. He was the son of Bill & Cindy Smith, everyone that knew him knew his mama was his best friend. He was the older brother of Jamie and Chelsea. Survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends who loved him. I want to thank his angel of an aunt, Karen Jones, who advocated for him in every way possible to get him the care he needed for many years. On July 5th 2024 He lost his battle after contracting an infection. He was in A Care facility to recuperate and heal and received inadequate care that resulted in another hospitalization that led to his death. John was a lover of many things: Art, music whether it be listening or playing guitar, reading stories, watching movies. Loving his naughty dachshund, Storm who loved him unconditionally. The thing about John, regardless of all the hurdles life gave him he did not have one ounce of hate in his heart. Always trying to make everyone smile and laugh. He told me his biggest joy in life, was watching those live and enjoy their lives even though he couldn’t. He was surrounded by those who loved him unconditionally. In present and in spirit, his beloved grandfather Pop- John will forever be his Doc. His Nana, whom he saw as his a best friend and never fully recovered after her loss. His beloved auntie Bren, who he forever loved surrounded him and took him home. Where he can be pain free we imagine him happy and healthy being the character he has always been. We will forever miss him and will continue to Breathe Life for him.
