Dorothy l Hostetler

Dorothy L. Hostetler, 80 of Navarre passed away July 17, 2024 following a sudden illness. She was born at Navarre, the daughter of the late Floyd and Ethel Snyder Leighley and had been a life resident of the area. A 1961 graduate of Fairless High School where she had been the head majorette (twirling fire batons). Dorothy had been a child care giver to many of the Fairless youth for 39 years. She was of Methodist faith and a member of the Beach City Pythian Sisters. Dorothy was preceded by her husband Robert Hostetler, Oct. 12, 2019 and two brothers and one sister; Donnie, Roger and Mabel. Surviving are three daughters and one son; Cindy (Mike) Brown of Massillon, Barb (Susan) Spurgeon of Canton , Lori Manack of Beach City and Andrew (Keri) Hostetler of New York, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, one sister Margaret Davis of Macon,Ga.; special companion, ELS; special neighbors, Natalie and Darvin Cortez & family, Brian Wisselgren. Graveside service will be held at Welty Cemetery at the families convenience. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
