Evelyn Louise Swan, 88, formerly of Beach City, passed away, Friday, October 8, 2010 at Altercare of Navarre following a period of declining health. She was born at Flushing, Oh., the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle Rankin Dunn. Evelyn was a homemaker and graduate of Beach City High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pythian Sisters and American Legion Auxiliary all of Beach City. She was preceded by her husband, Harold B. Swan, November 7, 1984. Surviving are 1 son and daughter in law, Larry and Kirsten Swan of Brewster, 1 daughter, Kathy Swan of Massillon, 1 sister and brother in law, Maxine and Myron Myers of Massillon and 2 step grandchildren. Services will be held, Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Orion Aubihl officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call, Sunday October 10, 2010 from 3 to 6 p.m. or Monday Oct. 11 from 10 to 11 a.m., at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
