Elizabeth M. Emery, 77 of Brewster passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brewster a daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (Bryant) Stamets and had been a life long resident of Brewster. She was preceded in death by Thomas Donald Emery, her special companion George Woods Sr., sisters JoAnne Morris and Mary Helen Hall. She had been employed as a sales associate in the electrical department of Kmart, New Phila for 19 years. She also worked at Pirate Pizza as a dough maker. Elizabeth was a member of the Brewster United Methodist Church and Brewster Moose. She was also on the Brewster Rec. Board and the Baseball Little League. Surviving are son and daughter, Donald{Bud} (Lori) Emery of Brewster, Susan (Doug) Edwards of Massillon. sister Merry Stamets of New Phila., grandsons: Daniel Edwards of Massillon, Drew and Adam Emery of Brewster. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with Rev. Jon Long officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
