Frank D. Fox, 71, of Beach City passed way unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Aultman Hospital. Frank was born in Massillon, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Emily (Cotterman) Fox. A lifetime resident of the area, he graduated in 1959 from Beach City High School. He served as a member of the Army National Guard from 1966-1971. Frank hauled milk for Regula Brothers Trucking for 20 years before owning Kremeland in Navarre, a family operated business, where his children learned a strong work ethic working beside their parents. He retired after 20 years in 2001. He is survived by his wife of 49 year, the former Nancy Slayman; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Dave Wood of Sandyville; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Becky Fox of Perry Township; and one grandson, Nathan Wood; one sister-in-law, Marge Fox McClurg of Massillon; two nephews, one niece, a large extended family and many friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Fox and sister, Margie Herhberger. A kind and caring man, he gave the gift of sight, (Life Bank). He was a avid hunter and fisherman who had a great respect for nature. He enjoyed woodworking and there was nothing he couldn’t fix. He always provided for his family, his wife and children wanted for nothing. He enjoyed his retirement years traveling with his wife and grandson in their motor home. Rest in peace, Dad. We will love you forever. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., in Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City with his nephew, Rick Slayman, officiating. Interment will be made in South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City. Friends may call Friday 5 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
